In order to satisfy the needs of quick growth, CTRIP builds a brand-new headquarter office building in Shanghai and relocates to the new building in 2007. meanwhile, the original office will go on running with some of the office areas remain in operation.
As a project service provider, ECCOM takes a lot into consideration: designing overall network technical solution for new office building and data center; improving network reliability and security; designing of internetworking between new and old building; maximize the use of previous network equipment to save investment on the condition of guarantee system performance.
The project has successfully completed network relocation and network building and transformation of network in the new office building; meanwhile it upgrades and optimizes original data center network. Most of the original equipment is utilized in the project. New CTRIP office network and data center network is clearly defined with standard configuration of network equipment so that network reliability and stability is greatly improved and data transmission performance is improved too.
